TUNE KINGKONG CENTERLOCK HUBS
The proven front wheel disc hub by Tune. Very stiff hub including a unique construction, which takes care that there is no deadlock of the bearings even at maximum clamping force. The King consists of a CNC-machined, one piece design hub body and 2 single-row radial bearings.
T When X-12 was introduced, only the mounting width was increased, the geometry of the hub (flange distances and bearing support points) remained unaffected. The Boost Standard, on the other hand, allows a complete adaptation of the hub with wider hub body and axle. A conversion of existing hubs to the Boost standard therefore is unfortunately not possible. Nevertheless, the new standard offers some advantages:
The flange distance increases. This allows significantly stiffer wheels to be built, which has a noticeable effect, especially with 29 mm wheels. One criticism of the large wheels has always been the lack of stiffness. Due to the larger width, 29 inch wheels can now be realized, which are at eye level with 26 inch wheels!
