The 180 Carbon Ceramic hubs are the pinnacle of hubs. Featuring all of our highest end technologies they are ready for the demands of the world's fastest racers. Super-lightweight thanks to its carbon hubshell and the extensively machined aluminum parts, super smooth thanks to our contactless seals and SINC Ceramic bearings. All of this is combined with our trademark reliability, because every racer knows: Going fast is one thing, but making it to the finish line is another.
All high end DT Swiss products combine race ready low weight with absolute reliability. The brand new 180 carbon ceramic hubs achieve just that. All parts are optimized to the maximum: The carbon hub shell body saves weight and is torsional stiffer than its aluminium counterpart. The ceramic bearings are extremely smooth and long lasting. From the freehub body to the star ratchets and the axle end caps, all parts are meticulously machined to only leave material where it's really needed. The 180 carbon ceramic hubs are made for world cup tracks and pros like José Antonio Hermida or Nino Schurter, but are so reliable, they feel just as much at home on every riders local singletrack.
